AGES: 8-10

This course serves as a part 2 to the Intro to Acting Class offered last semester or an introduction to acting for children. Students will exercise their creativity and critical thinking skills as they work their way through the course. Students will be introduced to mindfulness exercises and improvisations. Short scenes and monologues will be assigned allowing students to learn both collaboratively and individually. This workshop is an excellent opportunity for creative children to gain confidence, feed their creativity, and work on everyday skills like collaboration, communication, and reading comprehension.
