WHY DANCE?
Dance encourages physical development as well as the emotional, social, and cognitive health of growing children and adults.
For physical development, dance teaches coordination, strength, endurance, and range of motion. Dance also provides a way for students of all ages to express themselves emotionally through creative movement. Dance classes at PAC MetroWest encourage socialization and cooperation in a group, resulting in the ability to relate to others more easily. Learning these skills creates a wonderful chance for the mind and body to work together to improve intellect, including memory, perception, judgment, and reasoning.
PAC MetroWest has offered ballet and tap classes for children, tap classes for adults, dance therapy classes, and individual lessons for children and teens with special needs. The Moving West Repertory Dance Theater provides an excellent opportunity for teens and adults to explore modern dance.
